Meat Institute Emerging Leaders Program
Meat Institute is committed to cultivating the next generation of leaders for the meat industry. Leadership is an essential component of our industry and the Meat Institute Emerging Leaders Program provides a select group of leaders with year-long programming designed to empower and elevate their leadership skills, build connections and community within the industry, and learn how to advocate on the issues important for the Meat Institute.
Worker Safety Recognition Awards
The primary program goals are to motivate participants to improve their safety performance through the establishment of sound safety and health programs at the plant level and to recognize those plants that have achieved a high level of safety performance as part of the continuing effort to reduce occupational injury and illness.
Community Impact and Corporate Wellbeing Awards
The Community Impact and Corporate Wellbeing Awards, formerly the Health & Wellness Awards, were developed to recognize those companies that have made efforts to improve the health and wellness of their local and corporate communities.
Environmental Achievement Awards Program
The Meat Institute Environmental Achievement Awards are won by those member companies that go beyond environmental compliance by designing and successfully implementing an innovative plant upgrade or environmental program.
